WHAT WE DO
Objectives: - in all we do, we aim to fulfill five major organizational objectives namely;
- Build and strengthen the capacities of individuals, communities and children to address the problem of abuse in Uganda .
- Initiate the establishment and foundation of modular community, child and women focused institutional governance and capacity building curricular.
- Organize short training and advocacy workshops, meetings, symposia, seminars, where members and others can interact.
- Carry out research and influence policy directions regarding welfare of men, women, children and communities as a whole.
- Advance the profession of counseling as an essential element of psychological intervention in confronting abuse.
In order to achieve our objectives, ECCA runs five programs;
- Psychosocial support program
- Research and advocacy program
- Capacity building program
- Child support program
- Community empowerment program
